According to NPR, federal student loans are being erased for four hundred fifty thousand borrowers who say they were defrauded by their colleges — a victory in a class-action lawsuit that's spent years in court. The case has cycled through three administrations, most recently under Trump's education secretary, Linda McMahon. After years of legal limbo, the borrowers are finally getting relief.
