Variety reports that all fifty-five UEFA member nations pledged on Thursday to boycott FIFA soccer competitions if president Gianni Infantino's proposal to sell stakes to private investors is approved. The Asian Football Confederation and the confederation representing North, Central America, and the Caribbean have also opposed the plan. The proposal would allow private investors to take ownership stakes in FIFA's competitions.
