British-Azerbaijani man arrested in Cyprus over alleged spying on UK airbase for Iran

A British-Azerbaijani man from London has been arrested in Cyprus on suspicion of spying on a British airbase and passing information to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Rashad Sultanov, forty-four, was arrested on July seventeenth by Cypriot authorities and remains in custody as extradition proceedings continue, the Metropolitan Police said.
