World-renowned climber Nirmal Purja among 10 struck by avalanche on Pakistan mountain

The Guardian reports that world-renowned climber Nirmal Purja, a former British Special Forces member from Nepal, is among ten climbers who were struck by an avalanche on Pakistan's Broad Peak. On Friday, rescuers found four bodies, with two identified as Pur Bahadur Gurung, a Nepali citizen, and Nadhira Alharthy, the first Omani to climb Everest. Rescue efforts are continuing in harsh weather.
