Spain’s Sánchez blames trafficking gangs as more than 40,000 reach Ceuta – Europe live

More than forty thousand migrants have reached the Spanish enclave of Ceuta recently. Per The Guardian, Spanish prime minister Pedro Sánchez visited the border today to address the surge, blaming trafficking gangs for misleading migrants over a recent court ruling concerning arrivals in Spain by sea. Sánchez, accompanied by interior minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska, met with local, border, and police officials at the Tarajal border crossing.
