Russian blogger gets three-year suspended sentence on pornography charges as authorities step up crackdown on online erotic content

Meduza reports that a Moscow court has sentenced Russian blogger Sofia Vershinina to a suspended three-year prison term on charges of distributing pornography online. She was also fined four point eight million rubles. Vershinina, known online as Sonya Marmeladova, allegedly used a Telegram channel to advertise paid private access to pornographic content. The sentence is part of a broader Russian law enforcement crackdown on adult content services and creators, including platforms like OnlyFans.
