At $4 a gallon again, even Republicans souring on Iran war

Republican support for President Trump's war with Iran slipped from seventy-one percent in June to sixty-one percent in July, according to a survey by the Associated Press's NORC Center for Public Affairs. Support among independents fell to seventeen percent, while Democratic support dropped from eight percent to four percent over the same weeks — a broad, cross-partisan cooling on the conflict as summer gas prices climb back toward four dollars a gallon.
