Mahershala Ali on Marvel’s cursed Blade reboot: ‘If they wanted to do it, we would’ve done it’

The Guardian reports that Mahershala Ali has confirmed Marvel's Blade reboot is no longer happening. The two-time Oscar winner had been attached to play the vampire-hunting antihero since twenty nineteen, but the project has been shelved. Wesley Snipes originally played the character in three films that ran from nineteen ninety-eight through two thousand four.
