Russia’s largest e-book and audiobook service pulls a Pavel Durov biography, days after Moscow branded him a ‘terrorist’

politics

Meduza reports that Russia's largest e-book and audiobook service has removed volumes of a biography about Pavel Durov, founder of Telegram and VKontakte. The removal followed Russia's designation of Durov as a terrorist and extremist. The Federal Security Service justified the accusation by saying Telegram fails to remove channels and chats that violate the law. Multiple Russian businesses have since pulled Durov-related merchandise from their platforms.
