Washington Post’s opinion editor resigns after just one year in role

business

Adam O'Neal, who took over as opinion editor at The Washington Post last year, is stepping down at the end of August. Per The Guardian, he did not disclose his reasons for departing. The departure marks the latest upheaval at the publication following a tumultuous February that saw the newspaper lay off nearly half its newsroom and its unpopular publisher, Will Lewis, resign abruptly. The Post had found relative stability in the five months since.
