Apple is raising prices on its MacBooks and iPads amid a memory shortage. The new MacBook Neo will start at six hundred ninety-nine dollars, up from five hundred ninety-nine dollars. The base MacBook Air is jumping to one thousand two hundred ninety-nine dollars from one thousand ninety-nine dollars, with the fourteen-inch MacBook Pro also receiving a price increase. According to The Verge, the company cited the ongoing memory chip shortage as the driver for these hikes.
