Tiny Desktop Robot Has Radar
tech
Hackaday reports that a solo developer is building TongDou, a tiny open-source desktop robot with a 24-gigahertz radar and motion sensor tucked inside a brass tube chassis. The robot sports an OLED display face and can move on motorized wheels while playing pre-recorded voice lines. The designer hopes to publish the build files on Github so others can create their own, aiming to inject some personality and whimsy into otherwise sterile workspaces.
