David Clayton-Thomas, the Canadian singer best known as the voice of Blood, Sweat & Tears, has died at eighty-four. According to Variety, he died peacefully in a Toronto hospital. His soulful vocals helped define the band's signature brass-driven sound during the late nineteen sixties and early seventies.
