Peru's ex-president leaves jail after 15-year jail term for corruption overturned

BBC World reports that Peru's ex-president Ollanta Humala has been released from jail after his fifteen-year prison sentence for money laundering was overturned. He and his wife had both been convicted of money laundering offences in twenty twenty-five.
