Google has pulled a new artificial-intelligence feature from Google Earth that let users generate and share fake satellite imagery. Channel NewsAsia reports the tool was quickly removed after backlash over disinformation risks. During its brief availability, users began creating convincing false satellite images—including fakes of Singapore—before Google shut down the capability.
