The FCC is preparing to vote on several rule changes, per the Federal Register. One proposal would allow unlicensed wireless devices to communicate directly with satellites. The Commission is also considering loosening broadcast television ownership rules to help stations attract capital and investment, and making reforms to rural telehealth programs.
