US admits Reflecting Pool damage due to botched renovation, drops charges against former Olympian

The US Justice Department dropped charges Friday against a former Olympian accused of damaging the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, after acknowledging the damage came from a botched renovation, France 24 reports. Trump had personally overseen the project, which cost at least fourteen million dollars.
