DoJ appears to ignore New Mexico deadline for key Epstein ranch files

politics

New Mexico's attorney general, Raúl Torrez, set a deadline of Friday, July thirty-first, for the Department of Justice to hand over unredacted files on abuse of girls at Zorro ranch, a remote ten-thousand-acre property once owned by Jeffrey Epstein. According to The Guardian, the DoJ appeared to let that deadline pass without complying. Torrez's office first requested the files back in February, after he reopened a dormant criminal investigation into what happened at the ranch.
