A maker named Advanced Hobby Lab has tested a three-D printed cycloidal gearbox, Hackaday reports. Designed for NEMA seventeen stepper motors, it achieved ninety-two percent efficiency and produced less noise than three-D printed planetary gearbox alternatives. The project files are available for the maker community.
