D4vd hearing details high hopes and brutal end of girl at heart of murder case

Pop singer D4vd, born David Anthony Burke, is set to stand trial for murder, child sexual abuse, and mutilation of human remains in the death of fourteen-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. According to The Guardian, text messages introduced at a pretrial hearing show the two had been in contact since she was eleven, months before her body was found last September inside a car registered to the singer. The outlet reports the vehicle had been impounded at the time.
