Ceuta: Spain slams "selfish" EU partners

An estimated sixty thousand migrants crossed from Morocco into Ceuta, Spain's small enclave on the North African coast, over just a few days, and at least sixty-seven people died in the attempt, France 24 reports. By Saturday, officials say, almost all of those migrants had already left the enclave. Spain now plans to install a five-hundred-metre containment barrier along the sea border, while accusing its European partners of being "selfish" for failing to share the burden. That accusation comes as a majority of EU countries call for emergency talks with the bloc's interior ministers over the crisis.
