The Senate judiciary committee is set to consider Todd Blanche's nomination for attorney general, but confirmation has stalled over a dispute with two outgoing Republican senators—John Cornyn and Thom Tillis—who are demanding written confirmation that the Justice Department will not establish the fund. The dispute leaves Blanche's nomination in limbo.
