Singaporean Shu Han Lee moved to London unable to cook, but homesickness became her teacher. Channel NewsAsia reports that her self-taught journey evolved into Rempapa Spice Co, complete with two published cookbooks. She's now on a mission to make rempah—the foundation spice paste of Southeast Asian cooking—a familiar staple in British kitchens.
