Jay-Z Documentary Series Set at HBO

Variety reports that Jay-Z is set for an eight-part documentary series on HBO called 'Jay-Z in 8,' directed by legendary producer Rick Rubin. Rubin will interview Jay-Z about his music, lyrics, creative process, and life experiences. The two have a storied partnership—Rubin produced the iconic 'ninety-nine problems' from The Black Album. The series premieres this fall.
