Leica's SL3-P loses the dot, gets 8K open-gate video
tech
Leica has unveiled the SL3-P, a full-frame mirrorless camera aimed at working photographers. The new forty-four megapixel model features eight K open-gate video, fourteen stops of dynamic range, and five-axis stabilization. Priced around seven thousand dollars, it notably ditches Leica's signature red dot for a more discreet black design. According to Boing Boing, the camera is built for professionals tackling frame-stacking and high-end video production.
