According to Boing Boing, Meta installed a surveillance program to monitor what its employees do on their computers during work hours. Sixteen hundred Meta employees signed a petition against it. The irony cuts deep: Meta performs this exact kind of tracking on billions of Facebook users worldwide. Now the company is discovering that its own workforce doesn't appreciate being surveilled the way Meta surveils its users.
