Runner on smashing Alps ultramarathon record by six days

Sophie Woods has set a new record for the Via Alpina ultramarathon, shaving six days off the previous time. BBC News reports she completed the grueling route across eight countries while navigating storms, temperatures up to thirty-seven degrees Celsius, and dangerous conditions including floods and wildfires.
