A KVM Without the V (Or the M)

Hackaday reports on a new DIY project called PicoTTY that bridges traditional serial terminals and modern remote access. Created by morpheuslord, the system pairs a Raspberry Pi Pico—which connects via USB to any machine and includes a wireless card—with a Pi Zero hub. The Pico handles keyboard input and streams a serial terminal interface over the web, letting you access computers remotely when direct network access to the terminal isn't available. Unlike a conventional KVM, which requires multiple cables for keyboard, video, and mouse, this project does the job with a single USB device.
