According to Science News, fossilized fruits suggest flowering plants may have relied on dinosaurs to spread their seeds much earlier than scientists thought. Previous research assumed angiosperms only adopted animal dispersal after the dinosaurs went extinct. But these ancient fossils hint at something more surprising: plants and dinosaurs may have been partners in seed-spreading for millions of years.
