Former U.S. Rep. Kay Granger dies at 83

Former U.S. Representative Kay Granger, a Fort Worth Republican, has died at eighty-three, according to The Texas Tribune. Granger represented Texas in Congress for over two decades, becoming the first Republican woman elected to the House from Texas.
