Judge issues clarification to NCAA eligibility order

Per ESPN, a federal judge has clarified an earlier NCAA eligibility ruling that had allowed some athletes an extra year of play after their eligibility expired. The new order makes clear the original decision does not extend to football players who have signed professional contracts this summer.
