‘Aquamarine’ TV Series From ‘Bold Type’ Creator Gets Disney Pilot Order, Emma Roberts to Guest Star

Disney is diving into a television adaptation of the two-thousand-six film Aquamarine. According to Variety, the network has ordered a pilot for Disney Plus and Disney Channel. Original film star Emma Roberts will return as Claire Brown and also serve as an executive producer. The project is from writer Sarah Watson, creator of The Bold Type.
