Show HN: OpenKnowledge – open source AI-first alternative to Obsidian/Notion
dev_tools
According to Hacker News, developer Inkeep launched OpenKnowledge earlier today — an open source markdown editor rivaling Obsidian and Notion. It integrates directly with Claude, Codex, and Cursor, runs as a macOS app or command-line tool, and is free and local. The engineering highlight: a bidirectional converter between ProseMirror and markdown that uses CRDT — collaborative real-time data structures — to keep documents in sync. Collaboration happens through git, keeping data private with built-in version control.
