Wildfire threat eases across France despite heat alerts and storm warnings

Conditions are easing across France's wildfire zones, RFI reports, with thousands of evacuated residents and tourists set to return to areas in the south-west on Monday. Firefighters are staying on alert, though, as high temperatures, low humidity and a fresh risk of violent thunderstorms keep the danger from fully passing.
