Wildberries bans employees from bringing smartphones into warehouses

Per Meduza, Russian e-commerce company Wildberries has banned employees from bringing smartphones into its warehouses starting August third. According to an internal notice, photographing or filming during air raid alerts could expose air defense positions and violate Russian law. Only button phones without cameras are now permitted. The policy reflects broader Russian rules against filming the aftermath of Ukrainian attacks—publishing such images has already led to detentions.
