Ukrainian drones struck Russia's Black Sea coast and occupied Crimea overnight, killing six people in total. Crimea's Kremlin-appointed head, Sergey Aksyonov, said three died and two were injured there, while Krasnodar's governor reported three more deaths and thirteen injuries, including children, after drone debris fell on the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka near Gelendzhik. Meduza reports Russian air defenses claimed to have shot down one hundred thirty-one drones overnight, with additional strikes hitting a warehouse in the Vladimir region and a drone-testing facility at a technology university in Belgorod. The attacks are part of the broader war Russia launched against Ukraine in 2022, which continues to bring cross-border strikes deep into Russian territory.
