Ukraine says online retail giant Wildberries helps supply Russia’s military. Meduza examines the evidence.

Ukraine has struck warehouses belonging to the Russian retail giant Wildberries since July eighteenth, arguing the logistics centers help supply sanctioned drone parts and navigation equipment to Russia's military. Meduza reports there's no evidence the marketplace is formally embedded in Defense Ministry supply chains, but volunteer groups have used it for years to buy gear for soldiers, and a dedicated section for front-line orders stayed live until the strikes began. The attacks have killed at least nine people and injured more than eighty, per Meduza, with thousands of vendors losing goods in the resulting fires. Wildberries founder Tatyana Kim has pushed back, calling the strikes acts of terrorism and insisting the company's facilities are purely civilian.
