Braun Collection in Kronberg im Taunus, Germany

Per Atlas Obscura, a world-class design museum devoted to Braun's industrial legacy is hidden on the second floor of a strip mall in Kronberg im Taunus, Germany. The Braun Collection spans the company's entire product history—televisions, radios, shavers, toothbrushes, cameras, and appliances—each meticulously displayed with detailed annotations. Designer Dieter Rams shaped hundreds of these objects, and the collection features striking displays: entire products cast inside clear plastic blocks and sliced in half to reveal their intricate inner workings. Beyond the main exhibitions, the museum houses working archives with design materials available for professionals and educators to study.
