Man who returned fire at In-N-Out gunman had done firearm training after 2021 mass shooting

A healthcare worker in Twin Falls, Idaho returned fire on a gunman who killed three people and wounded several others at an In-N-Out Burger, and police say his actions limited the number of victims. Thirty-five-year-old Jordan Salinas told the Idaho Statesman his impulse to confront the shooter was automatic and mechanical. The Guardian reports Salinas had gone through firearm training following a 2021 mass shooting.
