Sunday Times and Sun columnist Rod Liddle dies aged 66

Journalist Rod Liddle has died at sixty-six after a short illness. A columnist for the Sunday Times and the Sun who also wrote for the Spectator, Liddle was known for a provocative style that drew both praise and criticism, and earlier in his career he edited BBC Radio Four's Today programme. The Guardian reports that tributes have been paid across the industry.
