French wildfires expose buried WWII shells

Wildfires tearing through southwest France have exposed a buried cache of Second World War-era shells in the village of Le Porge, near Bordeaux, RFI English reports. The discovery adds an explosive hazard to an already dangerous fire scene in the Gironde region.
