Paris prosecutor investigates alleged bullying in government departments after suicide attempt

France Inter radio reported on Monday that Paris prosecutors have opened a preliminary inquiry into allegations of workplace bullying in a government office connected to the French prime minister, following an attempted suicide by a department employee. Two government workers from related departments have died by suicide within the past year, and two others have attempted to take their own lives. Complaints of alleged workplace bullying have been made.
