Spain’s RTVE Joins Netflix, Universal on Félix Viscarret’s ETA Drama ‘Blanco’

Per Variety, Spanish public broadcaster RTVE has boarded a new film titled 'Blanco,' directed by Félix Viscarret, whose previous credits include 'Patria' and 'Under the Stars.' The film dramatizes the 1997 kidnapping and murder of Basque politician Miguel Ángel Blanco by terrorist organization ETA. RTVE is joining Netflix and Universal Pictures International Spain on the project, with Universal set to distribute it theatrically.
