Apple launches legal challenge against UK government demand to access data

Per The Guardian, Apple is taking the UK government to court over encryption. The tech company filed a challenge at the Investigatory Powers Tribunal against a fresh Home Office demand for back-door access to encrypted iCloud data of British users. This repeats a request the government abandoned just a year earlier.
