Judge orders return of alleged victim of trafficking sent to France under ‘one in one out’ scheme

A UK high court judge has ordered the Home Office to bring back an alleged trafficking victim who was forcibly removed to France under the government's 'one in one out' asylum scheme. The Guardian reports the ruling is the first of its kind and quashes a Home Office policy that refused to let asylum seekers have rejected trafficking claims reconsidered. It could open the door for others removed under the same policy to be returned to the UK.
