Republican holdouts say they will back Todd Blanche for attorney general

Per The Guardian, Republican senators who had threatened to block Todd Blanche's confirmation as attorney general announced they will now support his nomination. The shift came after Blanche, who is already serving as acting attorney general, provided written assurance that a planned one point eight billion dollar fund for Trump's allies will not move forward. The Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to vote on his nomination on Tuesday.
