Former neo-Nazi activist selected as Tory candidate for Somerset council election

A former neo-Nazi activist with convictions for harassing a Jewish MP has been selected as a Conservative candidate for next year's Somerset council election. The Guardian reports Joshua Bonehill-Paine, creator of the Crewkerne Gazette AI clip series, is set to stand in the new Crewkerne South district and told the paper he's an executive member of the Tories' Yeovil branch, working as an events organiser.
