Iran warns US warships over altering routes in the Strait of Hormuz

Iran is warning U.S. warships not to alter approved shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz, Euronews reports. Tehran says it will target American vessels that try to change those corridors or maintain a naval blockade. The strait is a narrow chokepoint between Iran and the Arabian Peninsula that a large share of the world's seaborne oil passes through.
