Variety reports that Haugesund's New Nordic Films festival is launching its first-ever French Focus program, set for late August. The initiative aims to foster co-productions and partnerships between France and Nordic countries, in partnership with the Institut Francais de Norvège and France's Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. The program will feature a case study on 'Ibelin,' from director Morten Tyldum, who directed 'The Imitation Game.'
