YouTube Shorts are getting even shorter with an update that lets you double the playback speed

YouTube is rolling out double-speed playback for Shorts. Viewers can now watch videos at twice the normal pace—a ten-second clip now plays in five. According to TechCrunch, the feature makes it even faster to scroll through your feed.
